With a distinguished career as a music producer, Steven has consistently collaborated with industry icons and partnered with esteemed organizations such as MTV, National Geographic, the NBA, and the Heartland Film Festival. His contributions have earned him numerous industry accolades, including the Gospel Music Academy’s “Song of the Year” award, Worship Leader magazine's "Worship Album of the Year" award, and the John Lennon Songwriting Award. Notably, Steven has toured nationally and internationally both as and with several major label artists, written several Billboard Top 40 hits, and secured placements on popular television shows such as Parks and Recreation, New Girl, and CBS Evening News.

In addition to his practice in the music industry, Steven is a seasoned music educator with almost two decades of experience. He is a sought-after speaker at music and film conferences and festivals, sharing his expertise and insights with aspiring creatives. He holds a Master of Science in Music Technology from Indiana University and is an Avid-certified Pro Tools specialist and instructor. Steven is currently the Founding Director of the Commercial Music program at Samford University. This innovative program, offering concentrations in songwriting, music production, live touring and performance, and the music industry, stands as one of the fastest-growing programs in the School of the Arts.
